Casey Barrie Wehrman is an interdisciplinary artist living in Cleveland, OH. Primarily working in multimedia, Casey blends time-based work, drawings, and sculptures to create a conversation around body politics, grief, and memory. Their work has been in exhibitions in the Reinberger Gallery, the Ann and Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery, and Gary Johnson and Brenda Ashley Central Exhibition Corridor, all located in Cleveland, OH. Casey’s achievements include the Third Place award at the Prime Source Product Display Competition; a Workmanship Award at the Maryland State Department of Environment Rethink Recycle Juried Art Show; and an Honorable Mention at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum Juried Art Show in Baltimore, MD. Other awards include the Gund Family Scholarship, the Cleveland Institute of Art Grant, and the Fran and Jules Belkin Scholarship. Casey is working on an upcoming solo exhibition, at Praxis Fiber Workshop in Cleveland, OH.
