kaylee ryan
Kaylee Ryan is a multimedia artist and student based in Cleveland, OH. She is expected to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts for Drawing in the Spring of 2025. Her work focuses on portraiture and depicting the existence of figures in various mindscapes through a range of mediums, often using dramatic lighting and an intuitive approach. Ryan’s work has been exhibited in various group exhibitions at the Cleveland Institute of Art, including the annual Spring Show, 100 Show, Runway Show, and Foundation Exhibition, and a class exhibition for the 100 Drawings course. She has received multiple scholarships and grants from the Cleveland Institute of Art in recognition of her artistic abilities and academic achievements, and two Arts For Life Awards for her performance work in St. Louis, Missouri. She also volunteered in collaboration with numerous artists internationally on the 2020 Phoenix Art Book, a digital art book fundraiser for those impacted by the Australian Bushfires. Additional experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant for the Cleveland Institute of Art’s 2023 Summer Pre-College in the class, Foundation in Observational Drawing, and as a Caricature Artist for Hartmann’s Art and Concessions in the summers of 2022 and 2023. Ryan also has a significant social media presence where she works in freelance and regularly displays digital comics and illustrations.
